About us
Hi, I'm Michelle and welcome to what is my labour of love, Boopie Snoots !
After 20+ years working in corporate roles, the successful sale of the company allowed me to take some time out to reassess my career path.
Little did I know I then that I would be switching the boardroom table for the grooming table!
What started as a general enquiry into grooming my own dogs led to me retraining and becoming a City & Guilds and Pet First Aid qualified dog groomer. The study bug has continued with training in hand-stripping and ultrasonic teeth cleaning along with numerous seminars to continuously improve and hone my styling techniques.
It is the best thing I've ever done!
Anyone who knows me, knows that my two British Bulldogs, Reggie-Pooh and Molly-Moo are my world. Both tolerated the groomers but would get distressed at the vets for nail trims. This is why, at the heart of Boopie Snoots, I wanted it to be a welcoming and safe environment where each of my clients are treated with care and compassion as if they are my own, and part of my family.
Of course, this mean cuddles and kisses at Boopie Snoots are mandatory!

Full Grooms
Our full grooms include
- a pre-groom health check
- at least two washes using shampoo designed for your pet’s specific coat
- ears cleaned
- complimentary flea and tic wash
- a nourishing conditioner treatment
- a salon worthy blow dry
- nail, pad and sanitary trim
- either a clipper or scissor finish in a style agreed during your consultation
- a final spritz of cologne/perfume topped off with stylish bandana or hair tie before your pet is ready to sashay away to meet the public with their new doo!

Hand Stripping
Give your wire-coated dog the care it deserves with our Hand Stripping Service.
Unlike clipping or shaving, hand stripping is a traditional grooming technique that involves gently removing dead hair from the coat by hand maintaining the natural texture and vibrant color of your dog’s coat and promoting healthier skin and new hair growth.
Ideal for breeds such as Terriers, Spaniels, and Schnauzers.
We ensure a calm, comfortable environment and take the time needed to provide a thorough, stress-free grooming experience.
Price per hour includes:
- Full hand stripping of the coat
- Nail trimming
- Ear cleaning
- Breed-specific finishing touches
- Bath and blow dry within two weeks following the hand strip process

Think mud is just for messy paws and backyard digging? Think again! A mud pack treatment isn't just a luxury—it’s a wellness experience your dog will love (and benefit from)! Specially designed formulas can help with shedding and soothing irritated skin....a true spa experience!
Pawdicures -
A deep cleaning foot scrub to remove dirt and help prevent infection followed up with a nourishing, moisture rich balm to work deep into pads helping treat and prevent dryness and cracking
Blueberry facials -
Blueberry products, known for their antioxidant properties, help soothe skin, brighten the coat, and reduce the appearance of tear stains.
The gentle massage and calming scent of blueberries can create a relaxing experience for dogs, especially those who may be anxious or stressed during grooming
Puppy Introduction Package
It's exciting bringing home a new puppy and those first few months are so important as we train them to adapt to everyday situations. One of those, being comfortable at the groomers!
The first visit can be quite overwhelming which is why, to introduce your puppy gently, we offer a 3 visit package for pups up to 6 months old to enable us to introduce the sights, sounds and smells of the salon at a slow, controlled pace to suit your pups breed, age and of course their unique personality.
We work at a pace that suits them aiming at the first visit to introduce sights, sounds and smells around the salon. Gently introducing the bath, grooming table, different sounds like clippers, handling of their paws, ears and tail while calmly pampering your puppy.
On their second visit, we repeat the same things and introduce cleaning ears, trimming nails, pads, feet and around their eyes.
By their third visit we would aim for them to be comfortable enough with us here to have their first full adult groom and leave looking all grown up!

Can I kindly ask visitors utilise the unrestricted parking along Glamis Road, and adhere to the double yellow lines immediately outside the salon to avoid obstructing mourners arriving at Balgay Cemetery on the shared access road. Thank you.
